EarthBox Cape Town | Unearthing A Masterpiece
The highly anticipated Earthbox project was unveiled this week after years of development at an evening of ceremony and celebration beneath the stars of Lourensford Wine Estate in the Helderberg Valley. For one special moment art, music, food, design and fashion came together across the grounds of the estate, with performances by the likes of Zoe Modiga and Simphiwe Dana ringing out across the hills and valleys, all brought together by the wizards at Kraak Events.
The launch event, curated by The Manor founder Trevor Stuurman, invited creative personalities, media figures, government officials and other VIP guests from across the world for the first experience of this monumental, immersive installation. Descending almost five metres belowground along a 240-metre tunnel, visitors come up-close-and-personal with an ancient (almost 560 million year-old) geology, and the extraordinary peace it brings with it.
