Opening Night | Gucci Cosmos, A World of it’s Own
The Manor founder Trevor Stuurman joined fashion’s most fabulous crowd for a step into Gucci Cosmos — a celestial odyssey through over 100 years of Gucci’s history that landed in London on October 11, 2023. Curated by fashion critic Maria Luisa Frisa, this immersive exhibition transforms 180 Studios at 180 The Strand, taking inspiration from constellations and time travel, to tell an immersive story of one of the world’s truly iconic luxury brands. Gucci Cosmos was first showcased in Shanghai in June 2023, featuring dramatic sets by Es Devlin and a treasure trove of everything we’ve come to love about the brand from the Gucci archive. The labyrinthine exhibition includes rooms with rotating luggage belts and zoetrope-inspired displays, unpacking a 100-year journey through the brand’s history in a way only Gucci itself could.
