Wanda Lephoto in collaboration with The Manor present a 2-day pop-up event

Wanda Lephoto, in collaboration with The Manor, hosted a 2-day pop-up at Keyes Art Mile to celebrate the successes of this past year, Wanda Lephoto’s Spring Summer ’24 collection, and The Manor’s new Style Issue.

The pop-up featured Wanda’s latest collection entitled ‘Our People,’ which draws from collective sharing of stories of migration and settlement as well as a new, never-before-seen collection in collaboration with The Manor.

In addition to the new collection being available for purchase, there was an exclusive talk on Thursday with Wanda Lephoto, Rendani Nemakhavhani, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Thuthuka Sibisi and Trevor Stuurman, who discussed what ‘home’ means to them and how Africa is a core inspiration for contemporary stories told through art, fashion and photography. There was also select sounds by Kaddylacradio and Atora to complete the experience that merges artistry, dialogue, and rhythm.

The photos over the weekend reflect The Manor and Wanda Lephoto’s respective platforms as spaces for recognising the past through craftsmanship, with a focus on representation and identity through style, culture and collaboration.
