The Manor named one of the top 20 “Best Cultural Spots” on National Geographic’s “Best Of The World 2024”

On Jan 30th 2024, National Geographic announced their picks for Best Of The World 2024 — the brand’s annual guide of the most exciting, meaningful, and one-of-a-kind travel experiences for 2024.

The Manor was named in the list featuring the top establishments recommended by Nat Geo for the year ahead. “Best Of The World 2024” was created, researched, reported and written in collaboration with National Geographic’s international editorial teams, which serve millions of readers through their magazines and websites around the world. This year’s travel guide celebrates not only must-see destinations but expands the franchise to include a complete and authoritative suite of must-do, must-stay and must-consume recommendations for travellers to engage with these destinations more deeply and meaningfully.

The Manor is honoured to be a part of such an esteemed list and to be described as, “a project space that is the brainchild of acclaimed visual artist Trevor Stuurman, exhibiting themed gatherings to celebrate modern African culture. A happening might include a curated menu by influential South African chef Mo Moseneke, fresh music from a soulful Johannesburg band, or poignant works from an up-and-coming artist.”
