The Investec Cape Town Art Fair VIP Opening Night Cape Town’s art and fashion worlds converged for the opening evening of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair. The Vernissage and VIP opening on Thursday, 20 February offered an exclusive glimpse at all the fair has to offer before it opened to the public. Set against the backdrop of striking installations and gallery booths, gusts arrived in style — a space where art met couture seamlessly.

The Manor’s debut at the Investec Art Fair was nothing short of memorable. An exclusive booth with a beautiful mural of Thandiswa Mazwai, the cover star of Women in Art, The Manor’s latest publication, stole the show as visitors were in awe of the artistry — the perfect background for portraits and photo opportunities.

The night unfolded over clinking glasses and conversations about the artworks on display and, as expected, guests arrived in their most extravagant attire. From full feather dresses to perfectly tailored silhouettes and bold colours, art fair attendees embraced the theme of play too, punctuating the room with individual brushstrokes on a canvas.
