1-54 Comtemporary in Collaboration with The Manor

The Manor is proud to announce our official media partnership with 1-54 New York — the first and only international fair fully dedicated to contemporary African art.

This May, 1-54 will once again bring together some of the most exciting galleries, artists, and collectors, solidifying its reputation as a fundamental platform for African and African-diasporic art on the global stage. Since its naissance in 2013, 1-54 has been at the forefront of reshaping narratives around African art, with editions in London, Marrakech, and New York. Striving to showcase a community of diverse perspectives, including evolving interpretations of the diasporic experience, 1-54 features international galleries specialising in contemporary African art.

This year’s fair spotlights a total of 30 galleries spanning across Europe, Africa, and the United States.

The 2025 edition will take place at Halo (28 Liberty St.) on:
Friday, May 9 & Saturday, May 10 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, May 11 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
