Manor Library: a selection of publication titles across photography, art, design, and architecture. The selection is a reflection of our’s dedication to a physical archive as a resource in the age of digitalisation. This library forms the latest curation within our current space, consolidating key influences that have informed Manor’s worldview, ranging from publishing to exhibition-making. The library is essentially a small collection of our favourites and serves as an invitation for everyone who visits to start their own archive of beautiful and meaningful books. Archives stabilise memory. They resist disappearance by insisting on citation and care. From encyclopedic traditions to more contemporary ideas, the book structures knowledge through order: a framework for study that privileges depth over speed, and attention over accumulation.
